Matt is MD (Managing Director), AI and Data, at Temus, based in Singapore.

Matt is an AI pioneer and businesss and technology leader with a demonstratable track record of close to 20 years. Trained as a pure mathematician, he spent his early career in applied AI before moving from management consulting to banking. His key differentiator is his ability to cross from board room to server room with equal ease and expertise.

Prior to Temus, Matt spent over 13 years at Standard Chartered Bank in various leadership roles. At Standard Chartered Bank, he served as the Global Head of Analytics Platforms, where he oversaw the development and delivery of analytics platforms for the Group including group data warehouse, machine learning/artificial intelligence, and client engagement platforms. He was also instrumental in setting up information management, infrastructure, and governance for the Consumer Bank.

Matt holds a Master of Arts in Pure Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Cambridge, and a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Imperial College London.
