Aimed at growing local digital talents, Step IT Up was launched in Singapore in August 2022 and has since benefitted ~60 people from non-tech backgrounds. Step IT Up has been successfully conducted across multiple countries since its inception 8 years ago by Temus’ strategic partner, UST. Beyond Singapore, the programme has run in the United States, Mexico, Poland, Australia, Costa Rica, and Israel.
To those considering this journey, here are some takeaways: firstly, the programme provides structure, which gives a clear roadmap of the learning process. Secondly, the trainers offer real-time guidance, which is something you do not get if you self-study. And lastly, you have a guaranteed placement upon completion of the programme, which allows you to take what you’ve learnt and applying it in real life projects. To sum it up, Step It Up isn’t just a career conversion programme, it’s a journey of endless possibilities.
