Here are some insights from our leadership team that highlight the key milestones, challenges, and opportunities that have shaped our journey this year.
Collaboration across capabilities and functions has been absolutely essential as we navigate increasing complexity. Being recognized as AI Trailblazers this year was a proud moment, showcasing our AI x Data innovations and the tangible economic impact they deliver. Building a positive employer brand has also been a key focus for me, and initiatives like #TemusUs and @wearetemus on Instagram have allowed us to spotlight inspiring personal stories that truly capture our culture and show how fun and fulfilling it can be to work here. I’m particularly passionate about contributing to Singapore’s Smart Nation objectives by creating opportunities for entry-level tech roles at scale, helping to grow a diverse and capable digital talent pool.
Looking ahead, I see AI continuing to disrupt industries and redefine how we work. To thrive, we must rethink workflows, redefine success, and adopt new operating models. At Temus, we’re committed to challenging conventional wisdom, embracing experimentation, and driving thought leadership in the digital space.

One key lesson in 2024 is the importance of agility in an evolving market. Temus’ ability to quickly pivot in response to disruptive technologies like AI has allowed us to seize new opportunities and better serve our clients. A significant achievement this year was the launch of our AI-led insurance solutions, which introduced solutions like an AI conversational coach to train insurance agents in the art of building trust with their potential clients, amongst other innovations that enhances efficiency and productivity in building talent, which reinforced our leadership and deep expertise in the insurance sector.
As we approach 2025, AI will drive incremental transformation in sectors like insurance. AI can enhance insurance distribution by optimising lead generation and customer interactions. In operations, it can streamline claims processing and underwriting, improving efficiency and accuracy. We are excited about AI-driven tools that automate routine tasks, allowing teams to focus on strategic initiatives. To succeed in this evolving landscape, professional services firms such as ours must foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptability, ensuring Temus effectively supports our clients’ growth.

In the past few weeks since joining, I have prioritised understanding our people, our projects, the aspirations and challenges our teams face. Through many 1-1 conversations, I’ve been able to understand the respective expertise and talents within our team as well as the passion and dedication to help our customers. Good ideas have come up in these conversations and I look forward to continuing them with those I’ve not had the opportunity to meet yet. Looking ahead, I am excited to explore how we can continue to elevate how we collaborate and innovate so that we bring the full potential of Temus in solving confidently for our customers’ challenge and drive success for everyone.
Customers who have embarked on their cloud adoption (especially lift & shift previously) are seeking to determine how to derive greater business value beyond cost. The breakneck pace of innovation in Generative AI also means while many customers are interested in adopting and starting POCs/pilots, there is a lot more caution and consideration in moving those workloads into production. These complex challenges present us with immense opportunities to earn our customers’ trust and cultivate enduring relationships by leveraging our diverse expertise—from human-centered design to strategy, technology, and AI.

In 2024, Temus has continued to solidify its presence and partnerships within Singapore’s public sector, particularly with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). Our focus on citizen-centric and impactful work has led to the automation of complex processes and improvements in service delivery. Notable projects include the automated scam/phishing site blocking for the Singapore Police Force and the launch of the NS Portal, a one-stop platform for the Home Team. These initiatives reflect Temus’ growing footprint across MHA agencies, including the Police, Prisons, and ISD.
A key driver of our success has been the emphasis on collaboration. By working closely with MHA agencies, cross-functional teams within Temus, and external partners, we bring diverse expertise in AI, Data, project management, consulting, and Human-Centered Design. This collaborative approach ensures that our solutions not only meet stakeholder needs and technical requirements but also deliver tangible, societal impact.
Looking ahead, we aim to build deeper domain expertise to offer more holistic and differentiated solutions. Our shift from traditional project management to a product-driven approach will allow us to focus on delivering outcomes that align with the evolving needs of citizens and stakeholders. As we look toward 2025, Temus remains committed to strengthening partnerships, expanding capabilities, and driving meaningful transformation across the public sector.

FY24 has been another remarkable year of growth for Temus and our low-code practice. We successfully acquired several new customers while continuing to deliver impactful digital initiatives for our existing clients. By leveraging cross-COE capabilities in our projects, we’ve combined low-code solutions with Data and AI, as well as Human-Centred Design. This integrated approach truly embodies the unique value proposition of Temus, and we look forward to expanding these efforts in the future.
The combination of Generative AI and low-code promises to be exciting, and will likely accelerate app development even more if combined correctly. Notably, low-code will provide the transparency and control that enterprises require, which will address some of the concerns of code generation using AI engines.
In addition, it is imperative that our digital workers continue to upskill and move up the value chain so that we continue to provide value to our customers in the face of the increasing pace of innovation.

Temus is a different kind of company – when clients work with Temus, we listen first. Our mission is to help truly solve some of our client’s hardest problems and offer value-for-money solutions – we will ask the why’s? and why not’s? We seek to understand what you are trying to achieve, your constraints -Temus will bring “˜bytes and bits’ (i.e., technology), but also put users and the purpose of digital solutions back into the heart of everything technology was meant to do
Temus is going to put humanity back into technology.
Technology will increasingly be more than functional specs and logical flows – the future trend will be tech that is creative, immersive user “˜experiences’ leveraging AI possibilities. It will be offering users something beyond the hygiene factors of transactions, convenience and “˜easy navigation’. In Temus SxD view, the future of tech is that digital experiences will increasingly be contextualised to situations and/or users, thinking about what will drive digital adoption from day 1, measuring it for ROI and front end channels will increasingly becoming more like real life interactions (e.g., concerned and caring vs. encouraging and motivating; vs. humourous & witty).

The AI and Data team has driven transformative advancements this year, achieving key breakthroughs. First, our GenAI initiative successfully transitioned proof of concepts into live applications across finance, healthcare, and sustainability, with an emphasis on continuous improvement. Second, we encourage continuous learning within the team, empowering members to set personal goals and celebrate their successes. Our areas of expertise include cloud computing, data engineering, machine learning, and real-time data processing. Third, we’ve accelerated innovation by creating reusable solutions through initiatives like Forges. A prime example of this is KnowledgeForge, which specialises in information retrieval and knowledge synthesis from open source intelligence.
These accomplishments stem from strong cross-functional collaboration with consulting, design, and application platform teams. Our ambition to become a leading AI and Data consulting team is paying off, demonstrated by our active involvement in hackathons and speaking engagements, such as the IMDA AI Trailblazers Initiative, AWSupabase GenAI Hackathon, and events with Google, SCS, and SGTech. Looking ahead, we’re excited about future developments that will bring us closer to our goal of being the top AI and Data consulting team.

Our Year in Defence and Process Transformation: 2024
In 2024, our goals were clear: expand our brand, build thought leadership, and strengthen team cohesion. We’re on track to nearly double our LinkedIn community to 40,000 followers by year-end and have established ourselves as a digital leader in Singapore and beyond. Our “vision to value” outcomes and “human-machine interaction” approach have resonated with clients and partners. We’ve trained 59 Singaporeans with no IT experience into tech professionals and secured our first partnership with GovTech. Today, Temus is home to 400+ exceptional talents, with 90% of our leadership proudly Singaporean.
These achievements, in just three years, reflect the leadership of our CEO Ng Lai Yee, CRO Srijay Ghosh, and our team, who embody our brand values and drive thought leadership aligned with Singapore’s Smart Nation vision.
Looking ahead, our public affairs, marketing, and strategic programs—like Step IT Up—will focus on expanding our digital and AI capabilities, amplifying our thought leadership, deepening client partnerships, and forging collaborations across sectors. With bold ambitions and a fearless approach, we aim to shape the digital future for Singapore and beyond.
